This is the true story of thirteen young college students with essentially no seagoing experience that in the summer of 1970 sailed a 100 foot decommissioned Coast Guard Lighthouse tender (originally constructed in 1928) on a 68 day journey from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to Eureka, California.
